The Lupus Foundation of Colorado has opportunities for volunteers to become involved and to be able to give back in rewarding ways.

Support Group Facilitators

Support Group facilitators are people with Lupus who have an interest in group facilitation and have the time and motivation to make a commitment to group leadership, making a difference in the lives of many. Training for facilitators is available.

Peer Mentors

This is a special program that enables volunteers to provide supportive services on an individual basis to children and young adults with Lupus. Peer mentors can be young people with Lupus as well as family members who want to share their challenges.

Special Events

The foundation sponsors a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year. Call the office and find out the best match for you!

Health Fairs

Health fairs are a great way of raising public awareness and creating outreach regarding Lupus.

General Office Support

We rely on volunteers to assist us with the preparation and distribution of information packets, copying and filing and assistance with special mailings. Volunteers also assist with membership.
