The
Lupus Foundation of Colorado has opportunities for volunteers to become
involved and to be able to give back in rewarding ways.
Support
Group Facilitators
Support
Group facilitators are people with Lupus who have an interest in group
facilitation and have the time and motivation to make a commitment to
group leadership, making a difference in the lives of many. Training for
facilitators is available.
Peer
Mentors
This
is a special program that enables volunteers to provide supportive services
on a one-on-one basis to individuals diagnosed with Lupus. Peer mentors
help others mainly through phone support.
Special
Events
The
foundation sponsors a variety of fundraising activities throughout the
year. Call the office and find out the best match for you!
Health
Fairs
Health
fairs are a great way of raising public awareness and creating outreach
regarding Lupus. Volunteers are needed in communities throughout Colorado
